Maria Kharot is a trailblazing entrepreneur, real estate expert, and industry leader, proudly serving as the President and CEO of Northshore Title Company and Chicago Luxe Group, as well as President of NAHREP (National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals) Chicago—where she holds the historic distinction of being the first non-Hispanic president in the chapter’s history.

In her role as Chapter President and Chair of the Board of Directors for NAHREP Chicago, Maria leads one of the organization’s largest and most influential chapters. She works at the intersection of public policy, advocacy, and education, advancing initiatives that promote sustainable Latino homeownership and economic mobility. Maria collaborates with national and local leaders to shape housing policy, deliver high-impact educational programs, and equip professionals with the tools to better serve Hispanic communities. Her leadership reflects NAHREP’s mission to champion diversity, close the racial wealth gap, and support the next generation of Latino homeowners and real estate professionals.

In addition to her entrepreneurial ventures, Maria is a licensed real estate broker with over a decade of diverse experience, spanning residential and commercial real estate, title operations, and strategic business development. Her multifaceted background includes roles as a senior paralegal, property manager, and investment analyst, giving her a holistic understanding of the industry from contract to close.

Maria’s leadership style is deeply rooted in mentorship, education, and community empowerment. As a champion of women and minority professionals in real estate, she frequently hosts educational events, provides executive coaching, and partners with fellow leaders to foster growth in the industry. Her work is guided by purpose: to uplift others, expand access to opportunity, and build generational wealth through real estate.

A committed advocate for young women and future leaders, Maria proudly serves on the Senior Advisory Board for Raising Our Daughters Foundation, a nonprofit organization led by Shauna Weatherspoon. The organization is dedicated to mentoring and empowering girls through personal development, leadership training, and real-world opportunities.
